Interview Outfit Ideas

Hello everyone and welcome back. I hope you are all having a great day. Today I thought I would give you some outfit inspiration for any interviews or important meetings you may have soon. I choose four different styled outfits, some more casual than others. Depeneding on what your interview is for you can tailor these to your own style, interview, meeting and items in your wardrobe. I would say the best things to wear for an interview would be tailored items that are either black, white or grey as these are seen as the most sophisticated and 'trust-worthy' choices. I hope you enjoy...

Outfit 1:

The first outfit I put together is definitely the most traditional and sophisticated option. It is perfect for any job interview you may have or even any presentations you want to nail at work. I chose a white shirt dress and layered on a structured grey sleeveless jacket. If you don't have a shirt dress you could opt for a white shirt/blouse and a smart pair of black trousers or a black skirt instead. Simply pair your outfit with a chunky black heeled boot and a black bag to complete the look...

  • Sleeveless jacket - New Look
  • Boots - Primark
  • Bag - Primark
  • Glasses - Specsavers

Outfit 2:
For the second outfit option I decided to go for a simple black turtle neck top and paired it with a faux leather grey skirt. The black high-neck creates a sophisticated look and pairing it with a faux leather fitted skirt adds structure and class to the outfit. This simple outfit looks great with a low bun and a simple silver necklace to finish off the look. Don't go to too overboard on the jewellery, you want the outfit to be simple and classy. To complete the look I added the same black boots and bag as before...

Outfit 3:
Outfit three is a lot more casual but still perfect for more relaxed interviews such as college or university. Pairing a black turtle neck with a checked dress keeps the look neutral and sophisticated. This dress is the perfect shape as it's not too tight or figure-hugging but still gives you shape and style. If checks aren't your style you could always opt for a tailored black dress instead. Pair the whole look with a black bag and boots and you are good to go...

Outfit 4:
The final outfit I put together is definitely the most casual of them all. This outfit would be great for casual interviews, meetings or even as a work wear outfit. Simply pair your favourite pair of black jeans with a black turtle neck  top and throw on a grey sleeveless jacket. By adding on the sleeveless jacket it makes a casual simple outfit more sophisticated and 'finished'. Once again add a black bag and boots to finish off the look...
