S/S' 18 Trends

Spring/Summer 2018 Fashion Trends...

If you are anything like me you are already over the cold weather and want the opportunity to start dressing for Spring! Although we aren't quite there yet many stores are going through the transitional time between Winter and Spring; shorts and bikinis are popping up everywhere. As fashion week has just recently finished I thought it would a good time to start talking about the upcoming trends for Spring/Summer '18 so you are prepared for when the weather does cheer up a bit...

Pastel Power:
If you are anything like me then you will be excited about this trend. In the Spring/Summer I love to ditch the dark boring clothing and bring out the pastels. Wearing head-to-toe pastel, especially violet, is what this trend is all about. No more dark dull colours; it's time to spread love and happiness throughout the world. Seen on the catwalks at Hermes, Victoria Beckham and Chanel, I know this trend is here to stay...

That good old 2000s dark denim trend is coming back into fashion this Spring/Summer. I bet you never thought that would happen! With the tailored dark denim being worn head-to-toe it's time to get brave and face the double denim trend once more. Seen on many catwalks this seasons including: Tom Ford, Versus and Tibi it's such a simple trend to follow...

Trench Overload:
There is only one jacket you need to be wearing this Spring/Summer and that's the trench coat. Although you may love the classic trench there is no room for boring this season. You need to jazz up your outfit with a detailed trench coat. With embroidery, raw edges and a deconstructed look you will never want to wear a classic trench again. Seen on catwalks such as: Celine, Valentino and Alexander McQueen you won't want to miss out...

Slight Exposure:
We all know that one girl that loves to show off her body by being slightly exposed. This season it's time to join her! On the catwalk there were nipples and knickers being exposed through sheer fabrics but in an elegant way. Whether your brave enough to bare it or simply want to join in on the sheer trend I think it may be a bigger trend than you think...
