London Fashion Week Festival 2017

On Friday 22nd September 2017 I attended London Fashion Week Festival. It's an event held around the time of London Fashion Week to celebrate the catwalk shows and gives brands a change to showcase their collections. The pop-up event was held at 180 Strand, London giving people a chance to 'experience' and celebrate London Fashion Week.

I arrived at the event at 11am and joined the queue. Luckily I was only queuing around 5mins before entering the building. After walking up a large spiral staircase I came to a room full of clothing racks showcasing items from over 150 different brands including: well-known brands such as Gucci and Prada to less know boutiques. From clothing to shoes, jewellery to bags there was something for everyone.

After walking around and browsing the stands it was time to watch the first fashion show. The designer of the collection was Edeline Lee. I haven't seen or heard of her before so it was interesting to see her collection. My favourite outfits were definitely the bold red outfits (which are perfect for this A/W). Edeline was actually at the catwalk show meaning we got to hear all about the collection from the designer herself!

After watching the Edeline Lee Catwalk show it was time for lunch. I took my own lunch with me but they had a great salad bar for a healthy lunch option along with a cocktail and gin bar for a quick refresher. After having a little rest and a bite to eat it was soon time for catwalk show number 2! This time it was all about Trends...

After browsing the clothing for sale and attending two amazing catwalk shows it was time to head home. I had an amazing time at London Fashion Week Festival and loved seeing the catwalk shows. Hopefully some day I will be lucky enough to attend London Fashion Week itself. I hope you loved seeing all the photos I took and maybe find yourself booking a ticket next year?
